Water pump ID please

Anyone recognise this 302 water pump? It'd be nice to have a shorter pump on the front of my engine but I've never seen one like this with a screw thread on the front...

The spigot indicates it is a late model 5.0 pump. Since the diameter of the impeller is hard to determine in the pics it may be the later "small" diameter one. I would feel pretty certain it is a serpentine belt pump, so it will be reverse rotation. I believe it was '93, but it could have been '94, they went to a smaller diameter pump, which is the same as used on later Explorers, etc.

Looks like a late Explorer pump to me.. Front and rear views might help zero in on it..

How about your harmonic balancer as well.. The Explorer balance has an integral serpentine pulley and crank trigger for the ignition system in most cases...

I think it is a Thunderbird 5L installation from 91-93. Also used on the 5L 94-95 Mustang. Shortest pumps available. Reverse rotation, can be fitted with a different impeller if needed.

Simon,
I think everyone's agreed that that's an Explorer reverse rotation pump which only fits the late type timing covers.
If you want the same length pump (1.5 to 1.75 shorter) to fit the early style timing cover and turns the right way then Ford still do their " Hot Rod" pump but unfortunatly have discontinued the V belt pulley kit that went with it. You can fiddle about with early dampers and pullies to make it work though.
