What would you do if there were no american engines?

Hmmm, interesting thread. Cosworth is now American owned BTW. How about a nice juicy Judd, or a zippy Zytec?

Engines, who needs engines?

Lose the floor plate and get around 'Flintstone' style.

Yabba dabba doo.

And besides, if there were no American engines, Al Gore would have nothing to moan about.

That car is insane Tom!
What a great sound and fantastic driving....rockonsmile

Presumably a V8? Right that's it then - a Judd for the '40, no doubt.

a little to intensive on service or ?

KV675 is nice, but while we're selling the kids to pay for it, why not sell the missus as well opt for the GV5, 4997cc V10. 800hp at 10,000rpm. Should sound as good as Georg's BMW, just with more bragging rights at the pub.

Yes - intensive....

IMHO Any modern engine will be probably much more powerful form the start, much more hard and difficult to repair (M5 unit is NOT so easy..and needs a bit of electronic to work) and will save some (few) money in fuel.
How about an eco fuel alchool machine?
