I figured I might as well throw it out there to be chewed on. I've found a body that has never been set on a chassis or built in any way. I'd like to place it on a Nissan '87 300 zx chassis, as I have several lying around. Yes, it is front engine, yes it is a Nissan. Yes it will fit (I think). I have two wheelbase models to choose from. The 2 + 2 is set at 98 inches and the 2 seater is at 91 inches.
At one time I was going to put a Bradley on it but after seeing the GT40, ????
Question, as long as I don't modify the body and stay within the "character" of the kit, will this platform offend the purists?
I feel as long as the body is preserved and the car will promote the GT40 in a positive way, all the better.
Finally, I think I'll go with the 98 inch wheelbase and fudge the extra 3 in.
All feedback is appreciated.
P.S. I've just completed work on a Ginetta so I can build.
