Coyote engine cam covers

So the standard Coyote cam covers wouldn't fit due to clearance issues (Im guessing, AK built my.car.in the factory) so I found some stainless covers which I got to fit after a coue of hours with an angle grinder and a die grinder. Pretty happy with the aesthetic improvement. Before and after shots..

The Coyote cam covers are nylon, what I think you mean to say is "coil covers". These are non functional decorative pieces (OE version also made of injection molded nylon PA6-30%GF) that only hide the coils and wires. Many aftermarket options available and I assume that is where you found the stainless parts? Not everyone knows this but Ford Performance actually makes aluminum cam covers for (Gen-1 & Gen-2 2011-2017 only) and they are very reasonably priced, IMO. I only paid $300 for the pair. The advantage is that in GT40 you can better manage heat from the bundle of snakes.

Sorry yes thats what I meant, the aluminium ones are nice, but still not paticularly aesthetically pleasing!
