- Limited slip differential required (factory or uprated)
- Strong preference for Porsche G50 family, ideally G50/52
- Alternatives considered: Audi 01E or Graziano V10 transaxle if appropriate
- Road + occasional track use (not full race sequential required)
- Reliability and parts availability are important considerations
- Will consider rebuilt, exchange, or core units
- ZF units are now rare and prohibitively expensive
- G50/52 is preferred due to strength and LSD availability
- Graziano and Audi R8 units are alternatives but require adaptation
- Spares for Graziano in Australia are limited so this may be an issue
