427 Ford engine Block - $900

Pretty decent 427 side-oilier block that needs some work.Date code 1J17,service block with the extra ribs and more metal around the bottom of cylinders.Would need to replace the two sleeves already in the block ( due to an improper fit first time ) bore is 4.293, sonic test is still good, thinnest cylinder wall on the thrust side is .156 Thickest is .208. Line bored with all original caps and spacers, has side-oilier cam bearings still in block. Matching Ross forged 10:00-1 pistons,rings,pins for $250.00 ( theses are for a 428 stroker crank )WARNING:BUILDING ONE OF THESES LEGENDARY ENGINES is not for the mechanically challanged of the feint of heart. Would make good street motor project for a real FORD MOTORHEAD for this kind of money. Need to trim some projects. Terry Hane 509-543-4947
