A bit of reality for the Druids out there!

Bob, someone disagrees with your absurd view on the climate and your retort is to call it "The new Communist Manifesto".

You have no idea what is going on, no idea how to debate and no idea that virtually no one agrees with your views. please go away!

Craik, just read the post right above yours and tell me that the One Worlders aren't behind this climate hoax.

P.S. you'd be surprised how many private messages I've gotten from numerous members who back me on all this and how much they dislike you and jeff.

Exactly, when the concept of a government of and for the people becomes a government unaccountable to the people, we get the loss of our freedoms. Stand back, cool off and look at how the power of the Federal government has grown. Look at the massive bureaucracy, unelected and accountable to no one.

BushI was President
Clinton was President
BushII was President

What I care about is the real reason behind the global cooling/warming and now global climate change hoax. Just review post #20 here.

So Bob, you think Reagan was a great President?

I have received dozens of PM's stating that they all think I am a super-hunky, captain funky kind of extra cool guy to be around.

Doesn't make it true thougn I'm afraid :(

Bob, Can you clarify 'your' view of this subject for me please? I fear that I may be in agreement, but, with all the usual babble going on I can't actually figure out what the hell anyone's actual stance is.

For the record, my person view at the moment is;

1. Climate change (the topic in general) is over-blown, political rhetoric designed to scare the masses into higher taxes, direct or stealth.
2. Climate change (the phenomena) may be quite real, but the causes not wholly attritubutal to man
3. All Planets have ever-changing climates/conditions and that's just the way it is
4. Any effect we have either positive or negative as indivduals, is irrelevant comparred to the harm done by Governments and Large Corps. Change should begin at the top, not the bottom.
5. We should all try a little harder not to be blind to our over-use of packaging, over consumption of harmful products etc. and re-use as much as we can. That just makes sense, even if it does not actually help. Waste is waste.
6. None of this has anything to do with Party Politics whatsoever.

Bob, you even named this post ,a) calling others Druids and , b) stating it to be reality.

Your mind Sir, is made up before you speak, never mind listen to anyone else. But hey, do we agree on the main subject or do you and I disagree? I can't tell mate, you drown everything out to the point that it all just becomes noise.

If you wish to have a debate about the greatness of President Reagan, start a new thread.

Listen Jackass, you brough up the talk of Reagan, you said how great he was........

Ronald Reagan,

Reagan grew the size of govenment more than any other president.
Reagan grew the deficit more than any other President
Reagan passed the last major gun controll bill
Reagan passed the last major illegal alian amnisty bill
Reagan illegaly gave weapons to Iran

But those are all trumped by this huge blow he gave to the world!!!!!

He sent US troops to Lebanon (for no good reason), a terrorist truck filled with explosives blew up the Marine barracks killing hundreds of Marines.

What does the "GREAT RONALD REAGAN" do. He immediatly pulled our troops out of Lebanon showing everyone in the world that this type of terrorism works. We are still living with the fruits of this stupid act and thousands more have died!!!!!!!

In the history of our country this may be the single worst act by a President EVER!!!!!!!

Mark and Jim,

Don't worry guys. We're not dealing with a great intellect here. This is a man who thinks that because Hitler called his party the "National Socialists" he meant that he was of the people and for the people.

Perhaps he is a holocaust denier? Maybe WWII didn't really happen because Hitler was "empowering" his "people" by releasing responsibility into their hands... Oh wait, that's not how it happened is it... I really don't know what LonesoneBob is all about, because it can't be enlightened debate, and I care less by the minute.

CALLING ALL INTELLIGENT PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM (not you LonesomeBob), can we please open the debate up to people who take a moment of pause, and try to think before being a typical Troll and just posting up contentious material.

Bob, go back to you trailer, kiss the bottle that sends you to sleep. You have failed to answer a single question that I have posted to you, all you have done is obfuscate and muddy waters (and I'm not talking about the blues player).

Bob, bend with the wind and answer some of the points that people make (like your idiotic post regarding National Socialists) otherwise I and many others will laugh in private messages between each other. Oh hang on, did I say that, or was it you in another post?

I'm with you, taking to this troll is a total waist of time, I plan on ignoring him from now on.

Sure!
1. Exactly, and post #19 proves that it is not about climate, but the redistribution of wealth.
2. Yes, and when we hear of breaking 100+ year old temperature records, how did it get that hot without the kind of oil usage we now have?
3. What's the old saying, "Don't like the weather? Stick around it will change." Not to mention the catastrophic weather spikes in the distant past.
4. True but the United States is the cleanest industrial country in the world. We are expected, by Kyoto, to cut our usage back to '70s levels while India, china especially, etc. can go on their mad race to pollute. I believe that like the unions, the EPA was needed to clean up the wrong doings of business, but has grown to the point of destroying the businesses they regulate.
5.I've always disliked over packaging. But, I believe the aluminum redemption scheme is just another revenue producer for the gov. Real recycling in that area would be to reuse glass bottles, which is better than aluminum for your health anyway. I've always disliked waste even to the point of calculating wastage in ordering materials, which I know is going a little too far.
6. ha, ha. Again, refer to post #19. Unless you are splitting hairs since it really is an effort by the One Worlders.

Mentioning President Reagan as an aside has become an excuse to swerve this subject into the depths of off topic nonsense.

Post #19 tells us all we need to know about the Climate Change hoax.

Since its been buried again, I will repost it in the next message.

Back to the subject at hand.

"Climate policy has almost nothing to do anymore with environmental protection, says the German economist and IPCC official Ottmar Edenhofer. The next world climate summit in Cancun is actually an economy summit during which the distribution of the world’s resources will be negotiated."

That quote, and the entire interview, used to be available on the IPCC website. Even they must have realized how dumb it was to tip their hand on this subject, so it was killed. Best I can do right now is supply a link that posts the interview from 18 November 2010 13:16 Neue Zürcher Zeitung.

Here's a link to the original interview. Maybe there is a German member willing to translate it for anyone who might doubt the above link.

This is a discussion, where is the need to name call and question someones intellect? A little of that civility you liberals are always touting!

Climate change has nothing to do with climate and everything to do with money, just ask the fat guy that tried to get fresh with the masseuse.

Illustrating the truth to a liberal (something they are trained to ignore) is kinda like telling them there's no literal Santa. They survive on that sugar high of phony altruism and when they get a peek at cold hard reality, they fold like a toddler who needs a nap.
