If you and Bob stop posting one sided misleading, down right rude things like this thread and things like your glacial ice age stuff, then we will not have to refute your misinformation. Then everyone will be happy.

OK, I am going to admit it. I can't hold it back anymore. I work in the white house and I am a card-carrying liberal.

The White House is my own white house in Annapolis, MD. And I have lots of cards- library, VISA, Discover, ACEP, all kinds of cards. I carry all of them. My wallet looks like George Costanza's.

I don't have a Communist Party card, but if it makes anyone happy, I will buy one on eBay and post a scan of it here..........hope this is helpful.

The pioneering of alternative fuels is going to be a loss making activity in the early days for any particular product (or facility making the product). That's how it always is when a disruptive technology is being developed for commercial exploitation. Duh. What do you expect? And, it doesn't always work out to be a commercial success. That's called capitalism.

A lot of less deserving companies took money from the tax payer in the last few years and failed...ones that had no redeeming value (unlike a business attempting to pioneer alternative fuels) and sucked up a LOT more tax dollars.

If we want to ever have some alternatives to petroleum based fuels then we're going to have to spend some taxpayer money to do it. The major petrochemical companies aren't going to do it as they, of course, want things to stay just the way they are. That's where government steps in and attempts to raise the bar on what plain old capitalism is, or isn't, getting done. It's called using your brain, and your wallet, for something better than the status quo.

But when it comes to facts, I do not remember one case where he was right and I was wrong, perhaps you can help him out by some examples.

He says that glaciers are not receding, but are getting larger, is that true?

Is Buffalo New York covered by perminant glacial ice?

Yes I do know were San Jose is, its in Silicon Valley, thats Nancy Pilosi's district, the most sucessful economic area in the country.
