Can i put Mufflers through diffuser on racetail?

Is it OK to put my mufflers through diffuser?
(>Magnaflow mufflers 4" diameter -case is 14" total length 20").... it seems to be the best fit...Just asking before I start tack welding my exhaust...thanks!! (I might be able to fit round 5 or 6" mufflers and other sizes too if i put them in this way! but i don't have the money to experiment. So im going with these mufflers. I can always change them later!)

These are pics... IF I would have mounted my muffler on TOP like I see on most slc' ..theres not much room on the passenger side ..A 5 or 6 inch ROUND muffler will be really tight and closer to shifter cables...the 4" round muffler goes through the support braces on top passenger side with no problem...drivers side will fit IF you put it in place and PUSH the support brace back in place...BUT it will put a 1/8 dent in your muffler..the spaces seemed tight to me. ..SOooo I decided to put the muffler in the diffuser ... run 3 inch pipes through trans braces ..to cats near engine.... and more room in engine space...

Omg! Thanks! Just what I wanted to see! ive been looking at a lot of pics to find out if others have put them there !The slc wiki says the race tail has LESS room for the mufflers than the street tail. So when I was shopping for mufflers i was a little worried about room and cables... BUT when I fit my mufflers in the difusser and saw that i had plenty of room...I said to myself, " hold on that was way too easy"... thats why i had to post!! lol...I had always thought up top was the only way to go...but now i have more muffler options for the future if needed...great pics joel!! As soon as I get em on i can start it up!!
