cryogenically treated rotor vs non-treated?

Anyone have any experience with cryogenically treated brake rotors? I have heard outrageous claims like '130% improvement in wear!!!' and things like that. To me, it sounds like after its first full heat cycle, any magic done in the cryogenic process will be undone.
Some of the information i found on various sites talking about the topic didn't seem reliable because of other errors in their information, so i don't know what to believe.

On a racecar with Carbon/Metallic pads and good initial quality rotors - I have seen slightly better wear and less thermal cracking - but I think the improvement is more along the lines of 20-30% not any more than that..

Is the treatment worth the cost? In the case of a fractured rotor that ends your race - I guess it would be debateable.. Proper cooling of rotors (treated or not) is proper risk mitigation.

One thing that I did notice was that the bedding process of a fresh set of pads and new treated rotors DID transfer less pad material to the rotor..
