Cyclone Marcia

A category five is bearing down on Rockhampton , stay safe people. In Brisbane we are getting very heavy rain and hopefully by the time Marcia reaches us she will have weakened. As you can see from the chart there is another cyclone over Darwin I don't know the name of it.

Thanks Jack it is a long way North of us but is heading this way. It will weaken as it travels South.

I'm 2hrs north of Brisbane and although we've had very little of the wind , we've copped almost 500mm of rain in two days, lots of road closures and minor flash flooding but other wise all ok.
Brisbane should be getting the worst of the rain about now.

A lot of damaged houses at Yeppoon, and a lot of flooding all over but no fatalities, so all good. Today the sun is shining.
BTW this is how it was reported by CNN. Epic Fail!
The little Island down south is Tasmania, Queensland is the big.... Aw forget it.
