Jean Marc, My GT40 is an SPF, not RCR. I got my replacement shift cable from Control Cables, Santa Fe Springs, CA. I sent them old cable and they just matched it. They're not an upgrade, just new replacement.
Ron's suggestion of CNC alternate shifter is worth consideration, but I wasn't sure about clearance to SPF MkII frame near the gearbox.
