Front grill

Looking to mount my number plate letters individually on a front mesh grill set up to ensure cooling unaffected. Interested to know if any fella's out there done similar and whether grills can be bought off the shelf or else I guess happy to fabricate but seems best solution to avoid blocking air flow......
