JL's RCR GT40MkI Build

Hello All, I ordered my GT40 MkI from RCR in August 2024, hopefully I will take delivery by August 2025. My plan is to build a tribute not a full replica. Using some modern touches like fuel injection and 17" Wheels with center locks instead for spinners, but mostly vintage style otherwise.

I have started to gather bits and bobs for the build.
I have purchased the Quiafe QBE62G tall ratio transaxle with Ford bell housing. Also acquired is a Jim Inglese smooth stack injection system.

Update, Still waiting Im at month 10 since I ordered the car, Vicki says the body is built and fran said chassis is almost complete. I did choice the option of the factory cutting all openings and hanfging the doors, that should add about 2 months more to the wait. I have ordered my engine from Prestige Motorsports in Concord NC, 427ci / 520hp that should provide some excitement. and now to continue to wait......

Update: Mounted the CNC Performance cable shift adaptor on the Quiafe QBE62G. I also got the CNC shifter, excellent craftsmanship!

Update: Sent my Stack injection unit to Jim Inglese for R&R and tweaking, unit is ready to go! Pictured on my mockup and fitment 351W block.
