You've absolutely lost me. WTF are you on about?
Basically, we're "on about" the fact that a small, but very noisy
minority group of far lefties and atheists (in many cases backed by the A.C.L.U., BTW) have been throwing tantrums regarding
a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g to do with Christmas being depicted in the public arena for about the past 30 years or so
claiming it violates the so-called "separation of church and state" provision in the U.S. Constitution -
and the powers that be are seemingly s-c-a-r-e-d to death of 'em.
So, as a result, these days we supposedly can't have Christmas trees, or nativity scenes, or Christmas carols on public property, or in public buildings (including schools!), blah, blah, blah. 'Supposedly can't even say, "Merry Christmas"...'gotta be "Happy Holidays"! CHRISTMAS TREES are now supposed to be called "Holiday trees"
so as not to "offend"...and Christmas LIGHTS have to be called "
HOLIDAY LIGHTS"...again, so as
not to "offend". Never mind the fact that celebrating Christmas has been a
public tradition in our country for over 200 years,
we aren't supposed to do all the traditional stuff NOW because it's not "P.C."...
non-Christians might be "
OFFENDED!!!" The fact that the vaaaaaaaaaast
CHRISTIAN MAJORITY in this country
IS OFFENDED by all this anti-Christmas idiocy is t-o-t-a-l-l-y ignored.
THAT, sir, in part, is what we're "on about".
