IIB or Not IIB that is the question

Hi Chris
That back clip for the No 5 Gold Holman and Moody MKII was in MKIIB form it was flared out wider than a MKIIA (although it was made to look like the MKIIA). That is why the car had two Holleys (MKIIB) instead of one on a MKIIA and the hole on the off drivers side roof. Did you notice wheither this car had the MKIV dashboard?
I see they used P1008 on the cover and in the article on the MKII's In Motor Sport.
Regards Allan

nice pic of gt40 on the move (not as intended?)

Not my piccy - but a superb example of how not to take the bends. Impressive huh?

Great pictures, thanks for sharing them! If you upload them into the gallery you can do so at least twice the size, you won't be limited to 640x480.

Ron

Great photo as you say, and I'll take a wild guess and ask was it perhaps taken by Edwin Van Nes by any chance?

Does anyone have any additional pictures of the blue car in Paul W's picture? It's the one with the number 1 on the hood and the yellowish headlights and the single white stripe.
Thanks
