Mazda 20 B engine in SL-C

Thanks Tim, I'll have to check out the Leaf compressor. I work at the Nissan Powertrain plant, and spent the 14 yrs Prior to that at the Smyrna Veh ass'y plant that now produces the Leaf. Looks Like I may have a source for the A/C compressor.....I'm pretty sure thay are produced by Calsonic like the rest of the A/C systems we use.

I'm right up the road from you in Chattanooga. Just got done spending the week at Roat Atlanta for the Petit. We had a trailer in RV8-9 overlooking the back straight. I go to Dawsonville regularly and occassionally take in a concert at the Verizon Amphitheatre in Alpharetta. I grew up in Redan (Stone Mtn area). I'd love to see your GT40 some time; Is it an RCR?

I picked mine up yesterday. The body is on the lift taped together, and sorting out the parts.

I want to thank Fran for the time spent with us, the tour and his first class operation.

Its was nice to see all the activity, people working, and who care and take the time to explain things to get a better understanding of the car.

Thanks again Fran, Doug and Vicki and everyone else there, it was worth the drive.

Congrats on the new arrival. Now we can start our own club within the club :)
Gary emailed me some pics of his previous projects. Wow. No shortage of skills or resources on his part should produce one hell of a nice car.

That's odd- I don't see a checkered flag on your new arrival yet. Too soon from the hospital to get the new addition indoctrinated in fumes from the rotary? :)

Good luck with the new addition- I'm sure it will be a lot of fun!

+1 man! I like reading and seeing others builds while finishing priorities on this end. Congrats Dave and Wife on the lil bundle of joy. The SLC should make one heck of a prom car.

Here are some pictures of the unload and sorting out for the start. I am on a Mac, and not sure how to downsize them and send them. Some picts are of my shop and my twin blower set up on my 38 packard.

Congrats again on the delivery. Wish I had that much shop space and equipment to play with.

You must have had the car completely disassembled from the looks of it?

Was curious about the turbo exhaust manifold. Did you make it knowing the dimensions of the car or is it a used setup you will adapt to make fit? Looks new to me.

What are the specs on the turbo you have. I know you said it is a GReddy unit, but that covers a pretty wide range of sizes.

I called dibs on the 787b paint scheme already :D
