Get well soon, you will be missed here by all the rest of the sociopaths in residence...... and if you want a real doctor, grab your O2 tank and fly over here and I'll find you a room at Hopkins.....I still have some acquaintances there.

I just re-read your post Jim. I believe it can be simply explained because you say you are a Dr of medicine rather than the mind, but I don't think you actually meant I was a Sociopath or that there are other Sociopaths on here did you?

It's a fairly harmless word and I have to confess I had to look it up. I thought it meant someone who liked socialising, but boy! Was I wrong...

Horrifying!!

Say you didn't mean that Jim...

Keith, there are a few blokes on this forum who've been posting for years and always have somthing relevant to add or say to any given topic...you are one of them. Plus, your wit is one of the sharpest I know (only equaled by my mate in Ipswich) so keep well and a continued successful recovery. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Keith, it's only a pump, let me know volume and pressure and I a sure we can knock something up for you, mind you, bloods funny stuff compared with oil, regards, Frank

OK? Naahh, he's just gotten married for the first time (at 57!) so I'm sure he's in shock and he'll be declining steadily from this point forth. But he does live on a boat on the River Orwell (@ Pin Mill) which sits right outside a pub (The Butt & Oyster) so he ain't doing bad. And the "first mates" a cracker in the looks department. So, it could be worse. Enjoy the day mate.

Gosh Pin Mill. Home of the famous Spritsail Barges. Lucky (sea) Dog. That's the life...

Butt & Oyster.. Hmmmmmm I think I'll pass on that :shifty:

Keith, not what you are thinking! I did not realise your mind would see the alternative to my simple engineering solution to driving a turbo

I've moved in some very strange circles Frank - probably why I peaked way too early...

But, That's Rock 'n' Roll ain't it!

Keith does all this mean that you are on the mend ? Please give me at least a weeks notice if all this recovery malarkey changes so I can get my suit to the dry cleaners.:)

Sadly never on the mend mate. It's not in the nature of COPD, it's always downhill. It's the speed of descent that we always try to control. It's all about brakes, not acceleration here! :)
