I saw Rob today and he sked if I had watched the Indy Lights race? He said the last lap was unbelievable.

Well, I just watched the last lap of the Indy Lights race and it was fabulouse! That must be the most amazing ending of any race in the history of racing!

Do yourself a favor and YouTube the end.

I'm sorry but I just don't enjoy oval racing, sure it was a close finish that had the commentators hysterical, but doesnt float my boat.

Aren't all the cars the same bodies, the same engines, making left hand turns (IROC or NASCAR)? Why are they so excited to have four wide on the racecourse? It looks 125 feet wide and flat. How about some vintage Smokey Yunick...a different time in a far different world. Rare is a red flagged F1 race.

:) Hey that was good fun Ron, great way to spend some quality time with friends, Didnt you see me behind you in my Cone-head-igsig? Why didnt you point me by? I was driving flatout, in the rain, in the dark. :knife:

:) Hey that was good fun Ron, great way to spend some quality time with friends,

That it is. What isn't in the video are the cars right behind me all jockeying for position. When racing is good it is just an unbeatable activity but there are consequences - it uses up far more time than any other car related hobby and it reduces the allure of owning a fast street car or toy car. Once you go wheel to wheel it is hard to go back to anything else.
