Need a Black MKII

I'm getting geared up for the forum skins that feature various cars. I'd like a SPF MKII, in black, to use for the motif. What I'd need to do it would be a lot of photos of the said car, various angles, etc. so that the designers try and work it into a motif for the forum.

Anyone here with a black MKII they'd be willing to share lots of photos of? Kind of set on black because the other color combos are taken up with other motifs. That one that was done for Barrett Jackson would be perfect.

How about 1046, the 1966 LeMans winner ? If you want a Superformance, I believe I can get some pictures of a black one...

I'd love to have pictures of 1046, but I can't use anything I have because they are copyrighted. If someone has some good color pictures of 1046 not at a show with people standing around etc. that'd be wonderful!

The key for these photos is that they have to be "good". Good angle, no people, no reflections on the glass, and that sort of thing. Not easy to obtain.

What about the excellent photos of the Porsche Midnight Blue (almost black) Mk II that served as Lance's demonstrator until he demonstrated it into a million pieces?

I just hung up with George Stauffer and he is going to dig up some pictures
of 1046 that he took himself for your use on the forum.

How is this ? It is not just the only black MK II, but the only GT40 that was originally painted black.

That is and EXTREMELY good picture. Do you have it in higher res? What chassis number is it? And it is your picture? I'm sure the designers could do a lot with that one if we have it in high res.

Ron, it is 1046 the 1966 LeMans winner. George gave me the picture. He said we could use it for the forum if we wanted. If it exists in a higher resolution, Ill try to get that.

That is indeed a looker! First time I've seen those Firestones with the white stripe. (unless they've scraped a lot of curbs

It is not a White stripe, it is a Gold stripe.
