Plastics Expert?

Bit short sighted of me really but this forum could help me with something:

Nearly four years ago I came up with a new idea for steering devises for Skateboards and other "lean to steer" type contraptions. I skate a lot myself (started in 1976!) and have a credible mechanical background. In other words, from the outset of this project I could design, draw, fabricate and test each stage, of which there have been many (understatement).
To cut a long story short I am now in possession of six different designs of steering devices for the various disciplines of the sport i.e. slalom, downhill, ramps and concrete bowls. I have a UK and US Patent. I approached a plastics mouldings company two years ago that stated they specialised in ideas such as this. They produced everything in China, quicker and cheaper than the competition. You've guessed it, they couldn't produce the goods at the standard I needed to go to market with and the contract was terminated at some considerable cost to me in time and money.
I am now in the position where I have a product that the punters really want and I can't go forward. The item is made up of two moulded plastic parts, a steel axle, a kingpin bolt and two polyurethane bushes - not rocket science. The function of the device did take quite a while to master but is now well understood.
If there is any one that could point me in a positive direction I would be most grateful. If you are interested personally I can send some images to support my claims and also give a bit more background.

i have been in plastics processing and design since 1971 and a polymer consultant on my own since 1989. i would be happy to answer any questions that you might have on molding, tooling, part design and material selection. i will be "on the road" until oct 11th. pm me with any questions you might have.
