Porsche Gearbox

Does anyone know if the later style 996/997 Porsche gearbox, fits the earlier style 915/ G50 mounting at the bellhousing?

915 is different from G50, 996/997 gearboxes are again have a different mounting pattern ( except turbo, gt3 and gt2 boxes , which have the same as G50´s)

Sorts out the confusion when I see a 996 box pic but its a 'multi' hole flange rather than the 4 bolt type.
