RF101 finally registered

[Udo 101]

Hi guys, this is my first attempt at posting. Here are some pictures of my RF which is now registered. Thought I'd share them with you.

Nice build Udo! I thought catalytic convertors are required down under? Are those small cats in your exhaust before the mufflers?

thanks for the kind words guys.

Dave M yes they are cats before the mufflers. they are magnaflow which are the smallest I could find and are ADR (aust design rules compliant.

Hey Jim, as you see it, is how it passed. In the NT the legal requirement is 94 db. I had to put baffles in the mufflers which can be removed for track days. The gear linkage works great by the way, thanks again.

At the bottom of this page ("Similar Threads") there is a reference to a build thread for three RFs in Adelaide including RF101. Is that the same car?

Kym, Yes, Geoff Hall and a business assoc bought 3 RF's 88, 101,& 106. and made a start on them. Due to other commitments they sold all 3. And I bought 101. I have heard that Geoff has bought back one of the cars.

Hi Udo
Nice to finally meet you last week. Your car looks splendid in red. Red cars go faster you know. I think I've seen that ZF before somewhere. Ah yes now I remember, It was in my car a while ago. Now the pressure will be on Clayton to finish his car and NT will have another 40 running around.
