Ron. I bet you will have a new truck in 2012!

Now that is a hell of a concept/show car.

I think my chances for a new Ford truck are slim to none. The truck that I'd like to have - diesel, manual transmission, two wheel drive, and standard cab (just two doors) - Ford has decided not to offer since around 2003/2004.

What is it called, a Super Crisp?

Yeah egoman (is that really your name, wow did your parents have a sense of humor) I'm rolling in the cash from this site, quit my job and everything!

I'm not sure if any of these styling cues will make it to the new F-series trucks. I'm sort of hoping not.

Defintely for the new "Supersize Me" Generation and I think it will really take off in Stars & Bars territory. You could get 2 deer inside, 6 in back and at least 3 on the hood.

(Sorry Ron)

plus a couple on the roof.....Don't forget coolers for multiple six-packs of favorite brew for the "non-drivers"

Only on your side of the pond - they do this here (overpriced imo)

Very cool.

When I was over Jan I got to travel in Malcolm's diesel Nissan Pathfinder (also not offered here in the US). Beat the hell out of the US gas Pathfinders and got good economy to boot. The US is always suffering when it comes to diesel engines/cars.

I wonder if I could procure a diesel truck from Europe and import it?

Only thing I like about it is the engine. That monster needs to make it into the new trucks or Mustang for that matter. LOL

I knew a guy in Austin who used to come to our performance shop who had a pretty stout Lightning with a Gear Vendors OD unit on it. The truck ran 10.70-10.80's in the quarter and that GV unit didn't have any trouble at all. We also had a customer with an older 351-W based Lightning but that thing had a Keith Kraft 408 in it and also ran in the high 10's and also had the GV unit in there. Again, no trouble at all. Good addition from what I've seen.
