I got lucky, GT40 was available as a plate when I registered my car.
Has anybody used any Ford or any other badging on there GT40s.

my plate for the Mk1 is "GT40 MKI" and the Mk3 was "MKIII"

I have also been looking to get DVLA to release one "MAX 180 Y" (MAXIBOY)!

Or another I enquired about, that also ties in with my nickname 'Max': "C 11 MAX" (CLIMAX) !!

Way beyond my budget though. Believe "K II MAX" (KLIMAX) is up for £1750? Oops, just checked, this is now about £3500!

There is "40 M" available for just under £40,000

Did see "GT 40" plate for sale in UK many years ago, not surprisingly, I think it sold straight away.

I have finally got GTFORD for the RF after about a year of frustration. The previous owner bought it in 1986 and it has never been on a car. Regards

It is not my original plate number but on track and display I always use the plate N° GT40S.COM
It helps promoting the site....
