spring rate?

does anybody now how to calculate the spring rate (before I buy them) or is there a "golden rule" to see if the spring rate is okee? thanks

Rick , you need to decide on your intended use and pick a suspension frequency to suit.

That is probably most of the info you want.

However do a search on "springrate" and "wheelrate" for more info.

Note that because the springs chosen are affected by the square of the motion ratio, it is not really feasible or valid to compare spring rates between different GT40 manufacturers all of whom are bound to be running different motion ratios. HTH
