I'm sure that there is no universal definition of a "scratch build". Everyone has his own idea of what that term means. Mine is that you fabricate the chassis & suspension, build the engine & body, and that you do all of the work yourself. Few people do a 100% "scratch-built" project.

I bought a Holley sniper manifold with an adapter and it faces the correct direction.regarding the intake manifold, i have wondered if a 5.4 intake plenum could be fitted, you can get adapter plates to allow a Coyote onto a 5.4, so presumably the opposite is also possible.
