Any suggestions for road tyres in 295/50x16 and suppliers in the UK? My wheels are Image Halibrands -10" wide. There seems to be a very restricted choice in the UK, and I've not been able to find anything wider than 265 (Kumho).
However, I once found a thread from a Corvette owner in Scotland (but can't find it now) who is running 295/50x16, so presumably they are obtainable over here.
In the States, there is a Goodrich T/a in that size ands also a Firestone Indy 500 that seems well thought of, but I can't find them for sale over here.
I don't really want to swap my wheels to 15" or 17" where the tyre choice seems better. Can anybody help with suggestions? Alan.
