We went to Newquay, nice surf but everyone was wearing wet suits

Saw a very nice Gt40 on the way back from the Lizard to Carbis Bay today. Red with black stripes. Anyone know it?

Mate that is a Kiwi, you can tell by his dog, a Border Collie, we Aussies use kelpies or blue heelers. That landscape looks like Oz so maybe he is an Expat we can't keep the buggars out.

Carbis Bay today, went to lands end with 4 million other people lots of fat chicks, then to Penzance on the way back ... Still more fat chicks ...now settling into a Hendricks and Tonic.

Hi Pete,
Just realised your coded laguage
As you realise that Di will be reading your posts I realised that you cannot say Fit Chicks or you will be in trouble. Your secret is safe with us :lipsrsealed:

Hey Paul, can you make Lyme Regis for lunch on the 11th?

Hi Pete,
Heard you were coming via Keef & Ian Anderson and would love to have been there but a prior plus evening GT40 Silvermere meeting makes it a no no.

Shame you were not anywhere near Brooklands on the Wednesday as we have our evening local GT40 meeting on the 2nd Wed of ever month and you would have been given a royal welcome. You would have to have given a talk to the gathered masses but I sure you could have managed that :huh:

Have a great lunch and see you some other time :drunk:

All packed and ready for the Greatest Lunch Ever!!

Ah! Almost forgot the essential head covering (seagulls don't yer know).........

By the way, I get laughed at a lot for having a Poppy stuck in my hat band, like I'm so senile I forget to take it off after Remembrance Sunday.

I've even been accused of (get this) Poppy Fascism!

but, Guess What!!??

It's there all year round, and it'll stay there as long as our military are putting themselves in mortal danger day after day, and it's a kind of reminder to young and old to quit moaning about Facebook & the Price of Fish while there's dying doing.

So:

:tongue3:

Keith, I'm with you on the Rememberance Day Poppy. Good show!
Seagulls taste terrible by the way, like rotten fish.

Jurassic Coat met. for Wednesday,
Warm front from the North West (approaching late Wednesday evening). Prior to that
mainly overcast day with temps 17-20c (Not a sea breeze). Chances of rain very slim all day until the front arrives. At the moment its followed by a cold front about 6 hours later and may just occlude.
Keith - take your swimming gear as well.

Does that mean you will drive your GT40 to the lunch?

It is time you put some miles on that car!
