I guess you're right - just gotta have everything in place to see how it's going to work.

I've already settled on the drivetrain - built LS3 (not dry-sumped), ricardo transaxle+oil cooler. That's it, nice and simple. Now it's just a matter of getting the car....and then the engine....and then putting them together and seeing what I've got

In the meantime I'll start thinking about the next addition - gun rack - you know what they say, Alberta is like Texas Jr. ..... we love our money, oil, and guns :drunk:

Wouldn't fit with a Ricardo.

I've also heard that car has/had lots of heat issues.

Found it to be just easier to do a set of equal length longtubes and call it a day.

Ultimately if you want to play you have to pay... want a flat-plane V8 scream, buy a Ferrari. SLC + LS3 is fine for you and me though.
