A new Superformance GT40 (P2294) now resides in the garage of forum member Fred Cramer. This is a MK I "Gulf" livery car soon to be powered by a Southern Automotive built 351 Windsor stroked to 426 CID and topped off with some Webers from Jim Inglese.

Time Machines offers congrats to Fred and hopes he has many years of enjoyment behind the wheel of his GT40. We dropped the car off this weekend during a period of warm, dry weather that has been scarce in the Northeast.

Fred patiently waited for his chassis to be built and shipped and now has the enjoyable task of completing the powertrain install so he can go crush some bugs........

Great looking alright!

Now, where do you find the Gurney Eagle valve covers for the SBF? All I recall finding is Gurney Weslake covers..

That is fantastic Rick and the car looks great. You have to share how your going to get that to fit without hitting the window or cutting out the rear deck lid. Curious George would like to know. :)

The Webers fit fine as it is a Windsor, not an FE. The taller deck of the 351 block puts them up about an inch, it has been done several times so no worries mate..........
