Just read all 18 pages... is there another thread where the racing results and season is discussed?

beautiful car, would love to learn more.

Many of us also wish to see the SUPERLITE company race cars in every competition possible. But the company racing schedules, as well as the more serious necessities of leading an exciting and growing company properly, all fall on Fran. And I can't think of a better man for the job. ( ps... I just hope the SUPERLITE company racing hiatus will soon be behind us?)

Well guys...good news and bad.

Good news...we are incredibly busy in our new digs and all loving it....

Bad news....I had to make a tough decision while having a coupe of days off to recharge after the mammoth task of moving to our new facility.

So the decision had to be made to put racing on hold for a few months to make sure we get customers cars out to them asap. ....thankfully we are incredibly busy with lots of orders and all of the RCR crew are very happy in the new digs so catching up for lost time should not be too tough.
We have also been developing some really cool news parts for the SLC, so no moss has gathered while our stone stopped rolling..more on those later.

I know if it were me waiting for my new dream machine to be delivered I may be a little ticked to see my supplier off at the track and not getting my car finished and shipped.

So as tough a choice as it was , there really was no choice.....customers first....(even our driver Ryan Ellis agreed...)

We will still be testing as the LMP is sitting here ready to go and the SLC is 90% but we will not be racing until much later in the season when I hope to run the VIR 13 hr or the TH 25 hr.

Sorry if this disappoints some of our faithful track followers but customers are our priority and without them there is no racing.... period. FRAN HALL

Hi, I just registered here after reading without an account for over a year :O
I’m really curious what happened to this project... did it become the base for the aero? How many were built? I could find a few pictures, mainly of the orange one owned by Fran(?).

Yes Fran, I’d be interested in hearing about how this project played out.
I built an RCR LMP-1. It is totally high-end construction. LS 376/525 with Dauley dry sump and beefed-up T56 transaxle. It has been sitting in my garage and could be for sale to the right buyer.

Oh wow, do you have any pictures you can share?

Still working on this project. The RCR LMP body moulds were taken from our Riley Scott Caddy. We have all the original moulds for dive planes and aero tweaks.

Dr David,
Ever since Fran introduced these I was curious about how the cooling airflow worked. Fortunately Jim acquired an actual Cadillac LMP car to satisfy my curiosity;). Very complex air ducting indeed. I am aware of only three (?) of these RCR cars, Fran's demo car, the one that built by a Motorsports shop here in the SF area and yours. How many miles do you have on the car? Can you share driving impressions? Thanks.

Interesting collection, I've seen your street Indycar before.

Out of curiosity, how much would your asking price be?
