Anyone tried this seat for track use?

Perfect for a '40 except for the shoulder "wings" which are a bit of a nuisance (pain in the a$$$) when changing "cogs"(fiddling with the gear stick)other than that the fit around the hipth should be snug to minimise body movement while doing high noise levels through corners etc /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
 
Two things I wonder about. Layback angle: The manufacturer says it has ~26 deg. My car seems to be about 30 degrees which would seem to be close enough. Second, the front of the seat seems too elivated thus setting your knees too high.

Almost looks like they were made for the GT40.

Measurements from a MKV show the chassis front under side of the seat to be 5.5" high off the floor pan, with the back bottom of the seat at the floor pan. With the original seats that are just padding your actually sitting on the chassis. Also the firewall at the seat area is at 26deg.
