This is comming from the car industry it s called soft feel or soft touch coating. the Price for 1kg is around 220 swiss Francs !!!
We ordered it from berlac.

Yes we put on some U-Profiles the kevlar cuts are not so nice.

Thisis why when we where using Kevlar carbon( years ago!!) in our LMP cars I used to laminate a 30mm pure carbon stripe everywhere on edges to be trimmed due to the impossibility to cut properly aramide plies ( only water cut can do a perfect cut!!!)
Doing that after unmolding trimming was done only on carbon stuff so all edges where neat !!

the fact is your seats looks absolutly great with this 50/50 kevlar carbon mix !!

Yesterday i builded up a gurney bubble, i have not enough headroom in the car. We machined a foam Piece , then i glued on the door and covered it with 2 layers of carbon . next Thing i have to cut out inside the door and put also on 2 layers.

We also have a new machine in the Workshop and a new Project

Its an engine Fitting to a template of a Junkers F 13 fuselage which is in production in Germany. The plane should go to Oshkosh this year... maybe...

the new machine is 5 axis
1600mm wide 600mm height and in length you can machine around 2000mm.
until now we machined Wood, foam and carbon plates.
for the next Chassis we can machine the carbon Sandwich Panels out
