Congratulations Brett!

Just to let you all know ('cause I'm sure Brett has other things on his mind now!)
Brett and his young lady wife were joined by a new Mccall, a little lad called Rhys at 5 o'clock this morning 7lb 5oz.
Mother and baby doing well.
I'd like to be the first to offer my congratulations and well done for bringing a future '40 owner into the world.

Simon:thumbsup:

Congratulations Brett.

Now as you will know its all about bonding in the early days so you must introduce Rhys to your GT40 as soon as possible!

Congratulations Brett.

Now you'll have loads of baby sitting duty - just take the baby monitor with you to the garage!

I did notice in Simon's post mother and baby are well - presumably the hangover is about to start for you

Ian

Congratulations Brett

I bet the Scalextric is already laid out to start the seed of your son's expected automotive passion

Regards
Andy

Thank you everyone for your kind words. He's now home and yes, Iam working out how to get a car seat in as soon as possible... the Le Mans pit crew is already planned

We did have a few moments leadin up to his birth, as his heart rate kept dropping. There's nothing more worring than having the emergency alrm going and having 6 midwives and 2 registrars coming rushing into your room!

I have to say I am really proud of my wife at the moment, and we are both over the moon. Lynz even more so, as Rhys managed to miss her birthday by 5 hours.

Hopefully, he'll get to meet some of you soon, as I'll try and bring him to a club meeting (have to get that GT40 interest started early in life!)

Thanks once again for you kind words... now withthe 2 weeks paternity leave... I might just get that engine finished.

Brett

Congratulations on your new arrival and membership of the proud father's club. I hope to be joining in the next couple of years - just doing things in the 'right' order, so our wedding in October dictates the start of 'mini-me' plans!
