Apparently it was on the way to the start of the rally, the report I could find said multiple injurys. If it is a femur he will not make the first race.
I wish him well.

the new said his hand had almost been severed and he would be out for the whole season or maybe end his career in f1
that would be a real shame to a fantastic driver

and the footage of the 207 super 2000 following him and finding it just happened.
He pushed too much and made a mistake in the last part of the passage.

Massive breaking news for F1 about huge financial irregularities. Maybe it's not such big news really as it's always been a bit seamy.......

Hmmm...holding my breath for the F1 race:

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP)—The GP2 Asia Series race in Bahrain has been canceled amid anti-government protests that have left four dead overnight— less than a month before the season-opening Formula One race at the same circuit.

The Bahrain Grand Prix is scheduled for March 13, with F1 workers due to be in the country 10 days earlier.
In a statement Thursday on the GP2 website, organizers say the race slated for Friday and Saturday was called off at the request of the Bahrain Motorsport Federation “due to force majeure,” or unexpected event.
