are you also using door catches in the spider/roof? otherwise the gonna lift I suppose at speed... or are you going to fit those later or not at all.

Hi GTRene, this picture was from Thursday, and we pre install glacing and other details, the door catches we want to try something from inside.

Today we test the car on the Catalunya circuit and the result was amazing, no problems during the test, the temperature was ok during the day, the air temperature was 28 degrees Celsius really hot.
The thing is the Coyote TS40 is a rocket more than 200 kph (124 mph) at 4000 rpm, simply incredible, the torque is like a tsunami over 3500 rpm starts the power festival.
I had raced in this track the last years and the behaviour of TS40 Coyote is wonderful really glued to asphalt.
I am very happy, you can see some videos ahead, in a few days can see videos from inside.

Wow, looks awesome Oriol. Are you planning to use the car much for track work is it mainly going to be used on the road?

Fantastic achievment Oriol! Super quick build time, must be close to a record. With that motor you are a member of a pretty small and exclusive club. Can't wait to see the paint. Great work, Bill

Thanks guys, my idea is to road use, and enjoy this car many many days, but to test with out registration, we went to the track.
To racing use needs bigger breaks and racing tires, whit that this car is a rocket.

Congratulations and well done!

And another Worlds first from Tornado Sports cars. A Ford Coyote V8 powered GT40 replica.

Thanks

nice to see, it sounds great too :D
how are the max db levels at track-days in Spain?
it does not look crowded over-there with cars that day, how is that normally and are those days or part of the days expensive or relatively "cheap" in Spain...

Nice job Oriol, Sounds nice for the first time out to.
Well done, nice to see it in paint,, or did you paint it in between circuit laps ?

TS40 test day was not a track day was a racing test, limited to 20 cars and our car have the logical limitations from a new car, the engine and others, we only ride slowly and we go to the track when few cars are running. The cost is 450 euros for half day. I don't know the db limit...
The body is ready to paint but we decide wait to paint after the IVA test, Andy recommends.
