What is the clearance like for anyone running a 427 (stroked 351)? Anyone able to post a photo?

Engine compartment clearance will be the same as any 351 Windsor.

I don't have a GT-40 yet, and the time frame of getting one is directly affected by where I'm placed for my next job. But until then I'm just trying to piece things together in my head. Making lists, checking them twice... That sort of thing.

Oops, yes, didn't read, or look at the picture, closely enough. So this should bolt right in.

I ordered a dart (351 Windsor base) 427 with webers for my SPF GT40, shortly after receiving the motor I found out it was not going to fit with the extra deck hight. So I sold the carbs and put TWM throttle bodies with EFI which will fit. Here are a couple pictures of with carbs and with TWM.

Sorry to be late, but here are some pictures of P2124 with a 427FE side oiler engine. Always 'cold natured'.
