Hi, Just a quick note to introduce myself. I have recently purchased an ERA GT40. Has been on the wish list for many years, and am now incredibly excited it has become a reality. The car is currently going through the NZ road registration process, then we will start preparing it for Classic racing...cant wait to get it on the track. Was lucky to get two laps in the car at the sensational new circuit called Highlands in the south of New Zealand.

I'm also Christchurch based and slowly assembling the parts to build my GT40.
I have the body, front windscreen, rear uprights, 4.2 audi V8, 016 transaxle.
I own and run a CNC machining business and have made the top and 2 rear grills and am currently working on the chassis design.
My business is based in Woolston (41 Barton Street) just around the corner from Russ Noble so if your out for a drive feel free to drop in and I will shout you lunch...
