When I travel around europe I've noted Italy is on news only for food and sport.BBC has a lovely way to talk about Italy, probably we need it.
I just dunno why we pay the greatest pilots in the world to drive our cars,we pay the best football players to play soccer here, we pay basket american heroes to win here....why cant we pay also some foreigners politics when our one are demostrating since 30 yrs they are all the same shit?.
Isnt my hero Arnold Schwarzenegger the governor of one of the most important state in Amerika?..and he is a foreigner.
why not here? why not a old "used-few miles" british or german or also Rumenian politic can come here and do something good for a country never so near to a civil war?
Dont dare to ask for an ex-american politic,we are just able to point finger against America, but if u are fired there, u have to change work, exactly the opposite here.

is incredible why the politic here doesnt work,doesnt matter what kind of ideas u have:asap they sit down in Rome, all comes the same.
Anyway really we need someone different,maybe younger also,cause all those ones arrives to govern to solve personal problems.
I really would love to see what can be the destiny of italian politics if they live in US,and try do the same..there.
From the few I know it looks as the big economic crisis in UK some years ago.
We have german prices and greek earnings, the 60% of people here has big problems in closing the month with money in wallet.
Also in my little, I have customers that can buy everyday all they want..and others not able to pay neither an Humbrol paint (but as for cars, I have to try make all happy anyway..if I can)
No savings at all, so too many have to ask banks (italian banks, really cant explain u how terrific is how they work here..) for small monthly credits.

Another way to save the country can be place a giant satellite visible spot all over the country with the writing: ALL FOR SALE- REAL BARGAIN!!, or place all Italy on ebay..without reserve.

Btw, the website was this www.italia.it and I wellknow it is not working at all cause they place it offline after 6 months.
This site was simply ugly and full of mistakes, they payed it with our money.
Surely some programmer there reading me, this ugly website costed "only" 7 milion euros and they anyway were proud cause the scheduled cost was for 50 milions euros (for a website eh....now anyway offline cause too ugly.)

Seems a joke, are just our money trashed.

In response to Paolo's comment about who governs Italy today, Italy was always governed by business. That is how the politicians got away with changing governments so often.

As long as people worked, prices remained constant in export markets (selling in DM or $$) no one seemed to care.

The Euro changed that.

I would rather see Mr. Berlusconi in office over the alternatives from the Center left (Mr. Prodi's party even if he lives in Ferrariland).
