Ladies and Gentlemen... the TSA!!!!

I am so torn on my thoughts about this entire situation. The bad guys induced fear in our population, and craftily lead our leaders into convincing us into spending $1M dollars for every dime the bad guys spend, in an effort to stop yesterday's war. The political motives of an "appearance" of an effective deterrent (which actually makes some people feel cozy at night) typifies this country's voting for candidates that have the "appearance" of promises we all know, deep down inside, cannot possibly be met or accomplished. Have we become a swarming incoherent school of narrow-minded, self serving, monochromatic jellyfish?

Thank goodness I don't have to fly any time soon. If so, the odds in Vegas are that I'll end up on the evening news making some kind of demeaning remark to the TSA employee with their hand in my pants, and then interviewed by law enforcement for the subsequent 4 hours, and then put on the 'no fly list' for the next 24 months.

At times I guess I'm my own worst enemy.

Well, Terry, I find I agree with you on this 100%. So would many others on this Forum. Are we out of step with the general jellyfish population?

This was recently sent to me.

Is it only me or does the idea that buying an airline ticket makes you fair game for invasive x-ray scanning or a groping pat-down upset anybody else?

However,if a police officer suspects that someone is an illegal alien,he isn't supposed to ask them for documentary evidence to prove their legal status!!!!

Our logical government at work. Right!!

I think I'll find some lead paint and paint a not-so-flattering message aimed at the TSA on my undergarments, which would be highly visible through their scanning machine.

we are spending a huge amount of money to screen everyone and I think not doing a great job. I think we should shift resources from screening the 8 and 80 year olds to spending a little more time with those that fit the.....profile.

+1 Rick. The situation is just the same on this side of the pond. I cannot understand why they don't target the people who fit the profile for suicide bombers for fear of upsetting a few individuals, while enormous inconvenience is caused to everyone else - and the whole process becomes so inefficient that it endangers all of us who travel by air.

Incidently, a characteristic of suicide bombers, wherever they come from and whatever their cause, is that they are young.

Terry , I was just thinking as I was blowing up my Good Year tires promotional blimp toy aircraft , that you might be asking for a cavity search .

Let's see, we have a problem with terrorist....................excuse me "man made disasters". 90% or more of these acts are caused by people from muslim countries. So, the most intelligent thing to do would be search babies and old ladies bodies for weapons and bombs! Please don't offend the muslim people. TSA has never caught one terrorist....err....man made disaster causer, not one!

"Those that fit the profile" I think you're on to something, what a concept!

I don't get it. I don't care if I'm scanned - what's the big deal? So everyone in the security line knows I have a larger-than-average penis and a couple of pins in my leg......whatever.

As long as people keep voting in legislators and leaders who appoint judges that support the loonies who say it is illegal , for whatever reason, to use logic in determining a criteria for applying a law, nothing will change. Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Always seemed to hit the nail on the head for me. I make it a point to upset at least one person each and every day, see everyone can have a bit of the love! :)
