Not sure which forum to put this in but here goes:

New ZF/2 now installed (looks good eh?) and engine lowered - probably by as much as 4"-5":

Sponsors logos in place, A/C unit installed but now need to fix compressor:

You can't see it, but the comms cabling is all installed now:

The emergency cut off sited in the engine bay is linked by a clever cable and cam arrangement to the external emergency cut-off on the off-side of the car... and of course, there is the Odyssey Battery, possibly the very first one in a '40...

Still it's getting there. The workmanship is astonishing thanks to HA and of course, the owner..

Looking good there - I take it the new uprights/hubs and brakes aren't on yet by the looks of things?

Not quite Paul, not quite. This car is stunning in the flesh but the 'blingers' will not agree with me. It's got a nice 15 year old layer of patina on it and the panelling (done by the Captain) is awesome and very 'racy' if you know what I mean.

I'm going to get the "Hurry Up" pit board out and show it at every opportunity - would really like to see it complete and there's no excuse now that the kitchen is finished... :laugh:.

There are some fab 'gadgets' on it too. Very well thought out and executed..

It is slowly coming back together and it would be nice ,though I doubt it will be ready, for the Classic.
Quite a lot of modifications going into it. I actually did get it finished once but I didn't really like the way it drove and then I got bored and took it to pieces again.
As you do.
I promise to get on with it......

The second Odyssey battery, I think, unless it was before 11/09 , the difference being that yours is actually connected to something, and mine is just sitting there.......
