Brilliant again John, the more the better. No such thing as "Off Topic" and nobody owns the thread. At least, no thread that I start.

I thought this might be a good one. Trouble is, I got the pic off the net but didn't make a note of what it is. I'm sure I'll remember if somebody guesses correctly......

Indeed - when you look at the mind that created the 2CV, some of the other Citroens as well, and even the styling of some Renaults, you begin to wonder about the French and their so called 'Savoir Fare'.

The DS19.

I mean, why?

It was mechanically quite innovative and a complete shocker in reality. A design concept that some fool said "lets make it"

Merde!

I know so little about aircraft, but identified this one right away. Yeah, it was printed quite clearly on the stbd side that I am not showing you:laugh:

It has to be a YAK of some kind....maybe....probably.. I don't know I can only see the port side.. :)

It's not a Stormovik - that was a brilliant plane..

Yakedy Yak Keith, not bad for a pirate! But before I show the stbd side, anybody know what number of Yak this might be?

Well done Jim and Keith, this one in Rivne museum (Ukraine).
I see that there is a company (YAK UK) who import them to the UK.
Also see a Yak52 crashed into a lake near Maldon killing the unfortunate pilot and passenger april this year.
