After wanting a GT40 for over 20 years, as of last night I have a well-used and loved KVA tucked away in my Garage.

>The car is very well known and was built by Robin Sundt, so she has a whole website dedicated to it which is very good to know and lots of information.
I have been a lurker for ages, but happily now a paid up Bronze Supporter and also just joined the Enthusiasts Club, thought I better as I bought the car of the current chairman and it was built by the previous!!!<o

>Anyway will try and make it next Wed to the meeting, but I don't think it will be in the GT40, few issues to sort out for the MOT.<o

>And problems with the starter, I need to find a geared starter for a Transit flywheel ??!! I have a lot to learn.

>Brakes seized on when taking off the trailer, and then freed up when I stalled it, so suspect a vacuum problem in the servo??

A 351 High compression engine, that I'm ever so slightly scared of, in fact the whole car scares me a little, which quite frankly is brilliant.
