I dont know if the 370z's fixed this so it might be something to look out for when test driving one.
The one thing that i don't like about my 350z is that the throttle plates dont snap shut when jumping off the throttle. The drive-by-wire system has some sort of logic built in to smoothly transition from on-to-off throttle. The problem with this is that it significantly slows down shifting as you wait for the rpms to reduce so they are matched to the next gear. In the 350z's, is bad enough that if i try to shift quickly - like in a racing situation - i can get some grinding when going into the next gear because the synchros cant match the large RPM disparity quick enough.
This is the most annoying thing with the car...
