Obama Fights Lawsuit

Brian,
Remember, they get most of their stuff free. What do you think the lobbyist are for? Never have to spend their own money, and they know the loopholes to get around it anyway!!! They all know how to raise money, and there are slush funds that are easily tapped or diverted. Poor ole Senator Stephens just forgot how to do it and got caught.

Re: El Presidente Fights Lawsuit

The title of this thread is NOW changed:)

"El presidente Hussein Obama Fights Lawsuit",,,,,,

Sheik is truly delighted to be AN AMERICAN, NOW.

Praise Allah and Jesus, for binging us the Chocolate President.

OOOOOOUT with the "Demon Boy George", his Royal Toxicity should move to Chernobyl, where he should have been stored from the very beginning.

To paraphrase American comedian Greg Proops being patronising to Australians on TV a while back :-

Hi America, this is the World, welcome back! :)

Tim. ;)

Hey Sheik, does it matter what happens to "the idiot child President"?
Surely it would be better if Chernobyl were to be renamed Cheneyobyl in honour of it's main captive... er resident Vice President and his cohorts... ?

Tim.

I like that idea, Faili--ANYTHING to keep GeeDub from coming back to Texas!

We already have plenty of idiots here, no need for him to return and screw up the gene pool even further.........

 I got till January to get a hand gun, purchase ammuntion,Hide my hunting rifles, Get some big glass jars(to bury my money in), watch televangelists and enjoy what freedoms we have left.

After that I'll just have to hang out until the give a way programs start.
Watch them ram a liberal agenda thru the unbrideled congress, spend more money than my small brain can add up.
Hopefully Have enough freedom left at the end of this to be able to
say I told you so!

Wow. Just, wow. I can't believe people still spout this BS. Republicans have a strong history of spending gobs of money; look at our current national debt due to the current republican administration. And you talk about losing freedoms? What about women losing their freedom of choice? What about everyone's freedom of choosing whether or not they want to die in certain circumstances? These are fundamental, very important freedoms; more so than owning a gun. Let's worry about the important stuff people. You probably hate tax increases and losing the ability to choose where your money goes. You probably call democrats socialist. Well open up your friggin eyes people. Look at what Bush did his first week in office! He's taking money out of our paychecks (tax) and giving it to churches (no choice - I don't even like churches) What do you call that? (I'll help you out - socialist, taxing, non-democratic) I bet you didn't even know about it. Some democracy. Grow up. You may not agree with Obama, but stop being the typical antagonistic "american" and give the guy a chance. At least he's intelligent and intelligible (in comparison to W - not McCain.) I wanted to vote for McCain until he picked Palin. Country first John, not you.

Anyway - you're worried about sitting back as an american and having your twisted little nightmare play out, but realize the rest of the entire world already has taken a back seat for the past 8 years while the Bush steamroller ran amuck following the holy voice in his head. How can anyone be comfortable with that?

You guys may be a bit premature in expecting the worst. Remember, there hasn't been a recent administration yet that's been able to keep all it's campaign promises. The balance in Congress has not shifted from what has existed for quite a while and that's where all the deals are done.In addition,Obama is going to have to bring on some Republican advisors and is planning on retaining the present Sec of Defense. He,alone,is not going to be able to push through ANY tax bill that both sides can't modify to be mutually acceptable. There WILL be closer scrutiny on most legislation and financial dealings that come under the treasury's authority but I think you'll see more stability in the market and you may benefit from that.I've already lost most of what I had gained so I wasn't thrilled with the past administration either.Don't go off the deep end just yet;I think you'll see some compromises that may prove not so bad for your situation.I sincerely hope for the best for your financial welfare. A.J.

Hmmm! Well you got me pegged I am an American. I'm also God Fearing , Life begins at conception ( Your my Proof!) And I'm so glad your mother and father were pro life aren't you? , Hunter , Conservitive, Repubilican and well aware of the rights granted us by our constitution. Life , Liberty and the pursuit of happiness, bear arm, free speech.
Have you ever been to a third world country?

If you voted for Obama be happy you won. Should I trust Obama? Never

The constitution was a good framework a couple of hundred years ago, but man, times have changed and will continue to. Words/concepts written hundreds of years ago (or even thousands) still get reinterpreted in modern times; they will need to over and over with time. The US is still new, relatively speaking, even much older countries are still working their framework. To think those old wig wearers got it right first time out of the chute is hard for me to imagine.

Oh how I long for more than a two party system...

I don't understand the fear of losing grip on so many things simply as a result of the selection of Obama by a majority of the citizens of this great country.

It is a shame that politics can be so devisive.

Peace,
Mike

Mike,
you must be one of those people that thinks the Constitution is a living breathing document that must change with the times. You are so so wrong. If it were, there would have been many more amendments than the few we have. You must not recdognize how our government is setup. First off you would have made changes whenever you thought the times needed changing. well this country is not(thank God) a Democracy. Bet that is a surprise to some of you guys. A democracy is nothing short of "mob rule". All you need id 51% and it is so. Well thank the powers that be, we are a Republic."I pledge allegiance to the Republic for which it stands" Remember those words?
This country was set up with a series of checks and balances so that one could not achieve mob rule by exerting enough force. Obama will find this out how that works as soon as he occupies the throne.
Now don't get me wrong, I think this country should have a black(non White) president and a female one also(bet Hilary is kicking herself for not trying harder 4 years ago). I just feel that Obama is not the right one. My reasons are simple. The most liberal senator in the Senate. Way too many bad affiliations on the way up. He is not the great black or white hope. He is an ordinary politician. He isnot "Mr. Smith goes to Washington".I feel he is too disonest and is very self serving. All you have to do is look at his past to see these things. For a small primer look here:
Ayers dedicated book to Sirhan Sirhan

The other information if you have the time or energy in this one article will make the hair stand up on your head. Bet you don't know what the Woods Fund and the Annenberg Challenge are or support. Well look it up yourself. I am not going to spoon feed you the information.(I dare you)
I know, I know, more right wing drivel. Well, if it is, it ain't drivel. One can always sue for slander. Think it would work?
By the way, I am not a right winger. I am at best a pragmatic libertarian. Too bad the libertarians don't know the first thing about defending this country. Somebody want to take a bite out of that statement!!!
Well eat me up now!!!!

:veryangry:
Dave - the fact that I am alive does not prove that life begins at conception, come on, be real. It doesn't prove anything. And the statement about my parents being pro-life is more BS. They didn't have to make that choice, that's all. Going by what you say, apparently anyone who isn't "pro-life" as you see it is going to automatically get an abortion every time they get pregnant. That may not be what you believe, but that is what your statement implies. Think about what you say please, I hear this statement all the time and the lack of logic just helps to weaken the argument.

You may be God fearing, but I am not. If you truly stand for what you say you do, then in this country every woman should have the freedom to choose if they want an abortion. I should also be able to count on my family to tell my doctors to let me die or help me die quicker if I'm in that kind of a situation because that's what *I* want, not you, not "God", not anyone else. That's one of the benefits of marriage - nobody knows me better than my life partner, whether I'm gay (I'm not) or not gay.

People like you absolutely amaze me how you spout "well aware of the rights granted us by our constitution. Life , Liberty and the pursuit of happiness, bear arm, free speech." but then take the position that I can't choose certain things about MY life that are close to me and have absolutely no affect on you. This is precisely why religion needs to stay out of politics. You can't have a democracy with religion because a democracy doesn't work unless you make your own choices. When "God's" word is the way, then no one makes a choice because they are already made; there is no democracy; you now have a theocracy.

"If you voted for Obama be happy you won. Should I trust Obama? Never"

I have never and still don't approach elections as contests like apparently so many people do. I vote for whom I think is best for the country, not for what I want so I can win. Why shouldn't you trust Obama? Because you don't like democrats? I DID vote for Obama. I was going to vote for McCain until he picked Palin. I sure as hell did not vote for Bush either time. I bet you did. Look at where we are now.

Pegged or not pegged, yes, you are an American, so am I and so are the people around me. What do you mean? If you mean you are a contributing citizen to this land who's constitution allows us certain freedoms and you are proud of having so many freedoms, why are you so quick to take important, fundamental, and closely held personal freedoms away from others?

Gentlemen, gentlemen,

I have asked the Moderator to create a special section for religion/religious studies on this forum.

It will be called Scatology 101 (study of religion). All religions will be represented and discussed in this section.

The Moderators for this section will be “W” and his domestic partner Osama Ben laden.

They will discuss, how baaaaaaad the world would have have been had they been “aborted” by their parents

Whatever Whatever!!! You commie bastards have the wheel now. No matter what happens it's your fault. ALL your fault! Now excuse me I have some sandbags to fill......... Oh and Fuck you!.......................... Said with just a little tiny bit of tongue in cheek.

Chris P:

I you have to be angry with me have at it. You brought up the life issue as well as the gay issue. Which as to my previous statements you know where I stand. Any kid that took a basic health class knows how a baby is formed. It even worked for the sheep back on the farm.
Sorry but we are worlds apart in our basic beliefs. In my posts I never called you anything or anyone around you. I merely stated my opinion. Is it my opinion that offends you so? My opinion and a $1.50 might get you a cup of coffee at the local diner. Maybe differing opinions are good?

Have a good night

Respectfully Dave
