Removal of CAV Fiberglass Sill Covers

I need to remove the sill covers on my CAV mono 134 as the fuel bladder cover plate appears to be riveted to the monocoque along its lower edge underneath the cover. Can anyone give me some insights on this? I've drilled out the rivets along the top of the cover, but am concerned there's a hidden rivet where the top body fiberglass comes down along the firewall to meet the sill. Also, does the bottom of the sill cover just rest in the aluminum "Z" plate underneath the body or is it glued in place so that the "Z" rivets must also be removed? Thanks much!

Hi Carmen. Yes, I need to remove the tanks. On my car, the fuel tank cover is not only bolted, but also has tabs which extend under the bottom of the sill and around the outboard side of the sill and these are riveted so I must remove the sill cover to drill those out. I did scope the inside of the upper sill using an endoscope along the fuel tank, and it doesn't look like there's a rivet under the roof spider so I will be drilling out the rivets along the bottom of the car to free the sill - should come out then. Will send some photos later. Cheers!
