Dear All,

Wanna race?

Due to a cancellation we have one seat availble in a Spec Miata. Seat will be $2000, and it comes with crew etc. You'd be driving with two other Miata drivers, for a total of three people in the car. More details available on request, [email protected] or PM me.

We're trying to fill the spot so we don't have to move folks around in cars. So if you have ever thought about driving in an enduro, and have a current SCCA Competition License, Regional or National, (or FIA), you won't find it any cheaper!

Best,
Ron

Ron,

So my expired Malibu Grand Prix license won't work?

Email me a current SCCA ticket and I will use the magic of Photoshop to be currently licensed at the national level. Of course, the $100.00 bills that add up to the required $2000.00 will be generated by the same means......

I have a friend that is now running a Miata, (up from his IT Pinto, no rude comments please, I built a "B" sedan/2.5 L Trans-Am Pinto in 1972) and he loves it. He says somrething about "balance and brakes!"

If I can have primary sponsor credit, I will PayPal you a total of $3.79....

Uhhhh, no, that one won't work.

But, I can assure the you won't even need photoshop. The SCCA is great, go to great pains to license people, make them go through many hoops to become a "race car driver". Ditto on tech. Lots, and lots, and lots, of technical and red tape. And medicals - my FAA medical, not good enough, must be more stuff filled out!

But when it comes to credentials, it is ridiculous. They mail you a license made of two pieces of cardboard, no photo, that you are expected to laminate together with your picture. So, I cut out a picture of a skull and laminated it on mine. Not even an eyebrow.

NASA? Hell, don't get me started. They are too lazy to even have their own licensing program so just use the SCCAs!
