Thanks Kevin.

Yes, I plan to get this drawn up for others as I had several asking the same thing. It wont be in CAD, but I will try and make it easy to follow.

Sorry this took so long, work has been crazy the last few months. Attached is preliminary drawing for the lift. We (wife the engineer) will get the rest of the details such as material details updated soon.

For now materials used below. Im sure most will see where they are used, but drawing will be updated to show.

2"X2"X1/4" square tubing
1/2" X 6" flat bar (used where casters mount and for all gussets)
3" C Channel
1" X 1/8" flat bar
1" lift arm bushing ( for cylinders and pawl mounting)
1" Sch 80 pipe (for bracing and bolt reinforcement)
5/8" bolts throughout.
2 1/4" cast steel wheels ( for the rollers on the scissor mechanism)
1" X 1/8" angle iron
2" X 1/8" flat bar
3" caster wheels ( I will post what I bought later but I will likely change them. I don't like how they turn direction)

Still waiting on the Kit from RCR.......Or an update. Does anyone else have issues with them replying to emails after you Pay?

Sean,
Very nice! I loved the video outside the dyno. I could listen to that all day, unlike the kid's Subaru a few doors down with the "fart can" muffler.

Im pretty excited today. I finally got an email from RCR stating that they are waiting on 1 fuel tank and then packaging the car to ship. Bill was nice enough to send me a couple pictures.

Sean, congrats on your car being so close to ship! Wait until you see how Bill packs everything into the car for shipping. I don't think he leaves any air inside!

Well its taken a long time, but she is finally loaded on a truck heading my way. Hoping to take delivery tomorrow evening.

I would definitely suggest John York with Beacon Shipping Logistics if you need to move a car. He kept great communication and got it picked up in 4 days.

Congratulations!
Don’t wait too long to put a support brace under the center of that spider or it will sag and take a set - causing you no end of frustration later..
Check out my build blog or others..

Thank you Randy, I hadn't thought of that. After reading your build site it looks like you had a few headaches with it.

Are those rear fenders wider? What’s the biggest width tire you can get under those?

Hi Kyle,

I had RCR add the +2" Gulf flares on it. I dont plan to have the wheels widened on it. I am hoping to be able to set the wheels farther out on the rear of the car to match the fenders.

Regards,

Sean

Ive made a bit of progress despite a crazy work schedule and a vacation.
I got the engine and trans-axle mounted, this was a very tight fit. I am going to need to look at changing the alternator mount, it is very close to the upper suspension support. Pictures corrupted so I will update later showing how close this is.

I fabricated some supports and spacers for the trans-axle adapter plate, pictures were corrupted, so I will update later with some pictures. I have a preliminary setup on the rear suspension, I will need to get it off the lift to dail it in.

I am going to move forward with fabricating the headers. I have a friend that is going to let me borrow a IC Engineworks header mock up kit. I will need to get a preliminary body fitment done to make sure I know how much room I have right there. I have the stubs and flared them out myself vs buying transitions(that are 2" long) to mate with the 1 7/8" primaries.
