What no paint?

Hi all

Here is something new, lightweight GT40 MK1 GRP panels impregnated in Colour.
Total weight saved around 30%.
The panels are coloured on the exterior and black on the interior.
Anyone interested in loosing weight?

Complete set of lightweight GT40 MK1 panels £2500.

Regards

Chris.

Hi Chris,

I am interested in the panels you describe, but have some questions:
Are they molded after original GT40 panels (correct shape), or after a KVA-derivate?
What material/construction is used to achive the reduction in weight? Is the structural stability reduced from the typical std items?

Best regards,
Lars

Hi Lars

These panels are structurally sound and use core mat in strategic area's to improve rigidity and strength. In the rear clip the rigidity is further increased by the ply bonding of an additional moulding that forms the inner wings. The panels are impregnated in your colour of choice and are coloured black internally so no painting is required.

They are derived from KVA as are most available replica bodies but are vastly improved. The reason for this is that because we have made them essentially for racing and as there are around 1000 replica GT40 in existence the requirement for replacement panels from accidents both on the road and the track will be greater for these panels than originals.
The complete body panel set is £2500. We have the fist body know out of the moulds and you are welcome to come and view for yourself.

Regards

Chris

Hey Chris,

I'm interested in your GT40 body. Is there anyone else in the US that may want to share shipping costs? What is the approximate wait time? Thanks,
Max Fischer, Richmond, VA

Hi Max

It takes 4 weeks to produce a body,

regards

Chris
